Yes I ski and know stuff. Yes I'm self-motivated. I would have to say I'm quite savvy with Social Media. 9-5 in an office with ski industry events is totally fine. I Excel at Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook...see what I did there. The only thing is, I don't have a marketing major, is that a problem?

good luck to those who apply! awesome opportunity for sure. Would love a position like this but it's the opposite coast!! If only you were still east coast. Being a marketing manager is a tough job in the ski industry these days, one wrong campaign or move can end a career. Be ready for long nights and lots of work putting together marketing plans, campaigns, and overseeing a staff.

Probably a sweet job.... could be qualified in a year or two.

I have all your "requirements." But I've only spent 4 years directly in the marketing field (sales rep/marketing coordinator) but I'm assuming you probably want a bit more than that.

Funny, I've been looking at a lot of houses in Bellingham the last few days.

Perhaps I'll look into other positions after this season. I'm not ready for a desk job just yet.

This looks awesome, I would be thrilled to end up in a position like this at some point after I finish school.

oh hey sklar is backalso its too bad this job is seattle but if line puts an office in vancouver it would work. if you have these creds and love skiing this is a dream job

I have everything required by Jarden other than the 3-5 years of management experience :(

I'm evening trying to move out west by spring time! Oh well

I feel like the OP and the actual requirements listed on the web page are just a litttttttle bit different. Nowhere in your post do you mention a BA or the 3-5 years of marketing experience. Id love to apply but unfortunately I have no marketing experience =(. Judging by your current run of ads on here though, I am pretty sure I could come up with some better promos than hitting your team riders with Donuts.

Haha I was waiting for someone to notice that.

INB4 99% of applicants miss this requirement. And it's marketing "management" experience, meaning you have to have been in charge of someone/something for 3-5 years, which realistically means 5-8 years industry experience

Hitting team members with ... Wait for it ...

Yeah I don't now I'm out of ideas. I suck at marketing...

There is nothing wrong with the OP's post as it was just a quick list of requirements and even mentions going to the link for full description... That alone means pretty much everyone in this thread is not a perfect candidate if you think the full posting was typed here.

If Line ever has an opening for an Engineer, please let me know. It has been a dream of mine for a long time now. I'll work for cheap and I'll cover my own relocation expenses. I even went to the same school as Jason (University at Buffalo) to get my degree in Mechanical Engineering. It's all I have wanted to do since I was 15, even after I found out the job is much less glamorous than I initially thought. So if you guys ever have an opening, please let me know. You will be hard pressed to find someone with my passion who has a stronger work ethic.

In the meantime I will continue to work towards manufacturing my own skis.

Keep doing what you guys do! Very few can compete with the amount of innovation Line achieves every year. I will always be a fan.

Done, Done and Done. Gotta work on my bow staff skills apparently though. Currently they are a bit lackluster.
