Marker Problems

My brother just bought a new pair of Icelantic Nomads, and mounted some Marker Free Skis on em. The second day using them, the toepiece broke, then, the shop remounted them with Marker Squires for free. The third day on them, he overshot a jump a bit and landed a bit backseat, and both toepieces broke in half, I guess. He's 6'5 and about 175 pounds, do you think it's because of his size or just defects? The shop said that they would refund another pair of bindings, but that would mean the third mount on a brand new pair of Icelantics, do you think Marker would do anything about it?

that's what i was thinking too, but I guess the shop for some reason recommended the squires, and he took them cos they were giving them to him and mounting for free. But do you think Marker would refund at all?

Well actually marker shouldn´t warranty the squires because he is not suppose to use them since they are fucking kids bindings. But if the shop gave him those bindings then the shop should take care of them.

should be absolutely fine with griffons or jesters. they're ridiculously tough. dont know why the toe pieces would have snapped on the others but its probably because they're not designed for that type of skiing.

Incorrect my friend, had a pair of griffons and one of the four pieces that hold the heal piece down broke off so we sent them to marker, AND MARKER SENT THEM BACK STILL BROKEN. because they were mounted on Kung Fujas and they have that schizo package deal, they said they werent going to do anything about it, and there is nothing different about the bindings anyway! It just means the Fujas come predrilled from the factory. So sent them to k2 and I'm still trying to find out what k2 will do. Ideally, K2 says, they would replace my skis with new ones NEXT PRESEASON, WTF. its been over a month and I don't see the the madness ending soon.
I've heard as well marker has a great warranty but they fucked me over hard

Your shop is stupid, the problem is you mounted the squires. Those bindings are Marker's junior binding meant for kids under 100 lbs. The jesters are a great binding and I bet would be great for your brother.

the only reason they gave him squires were because squires fucking suck and no one else was going to buy them. should've done some research and demanded a stronger binding

im bigger than your bro and have never had that happen. ive broken heelpeices and brakes, but never a toepeice. i dont think its just merely his size.
