Marker kingpin for inbounds?

I've been thinking of getting a set of kingpins for use for some lighter touring, but what I'm wondering is if I mount them on a ski and I want to use it inbounds on a light powder day or even groomers how will it perform? Will i run into any problems or have any issues?

I'll let other people who have experience with the kingpins weigh in, but here's my 2 cents:

If you're doing "light touring" and planning on doing a decent amount of resort skiing, I'd recommend a frame binding over the kingpin. They are a good tech binding, but if you're leaning more toward the resort and/or shorter tours, then the downhill benefits of a frame binding probably outweigh the uphill benefits of the kingpin.

The Kingpins drive my Pescados at 125mm underfoot no problem inbounds on groomers or whatever.

I am in the process of putting together a ski package for my wife and it just doesn't make any sense not to put her in a lugged ski boot with a huge range of motion for walking around at the resort, paired with a kingpin for weight savings and power transfer.

Thought about doing this, and decided I wanted the weight savings of a tech binding. But still wanted to be amble to have good power transfer on hard pack. Also should have mentioned that I will probably only have these skis inbounds for a handful of days a year, thanks for the input man!

Buying them in Europe will save you $$$

I run the Dalbello Virus which is now the retired Sherpa. They're 8 seasons old but I cannot let go of them.
