Marker Griffon Schizos and Wide Skis HELP PLS!!!

Hey NS,

So, im getting a pair of fattys, but I have a question about the bindings. im getting them mounted with 2013 marker griffon schizos, but they don't have a brake wide enough to fit the ski. I looked at the 2014 griffon schizos on marker's site and saw the 136 brake width available, and that size would work.

so, would the 136 width brakes found on the site fit the 2013 marker griffon schizos? the heel piece doesn't appear to be different at all

Yeah they will fit fine. Who is mounting the bindings? Normally a shop would sort the brakes if tey are mounting for you. Do they have any brakes to swap them out?

I didn't buy them yet, but im getting them online and then mounted at my local shop

Does you local shop sell them? It's always best to buy thing like bindings from a local shop. That way if you have a warrenty issue it's much easier to sort things out. Also if you buy from the shop they may well mount for free. That is how I work. If you buy skis or bindings you get a free mount. If you just bring in skis an binding you got online then I'm charging you a lot for mounting.

I checked with my shop, they don't have them in stock cuz im getting a 2013 setup to save some cash, so I cant do that
