Marker Griffon or FKS 140 for deep stuff?

Everyone says that the FKS are really hard to step into in deep snow. I've personally never had a problem with it. And let's be honest, it's really not that big of a deal. Also, the FKS are a MUCH better binding then the griffons.

I have never had this problem with them. Obviously you may have to clear the toepiece if it gets full of snow, no biggie. They've been great in pow this season, no complaints.

I have both and compared to a more traditional binding (Salmon STH, Rossignol Axial, etc...) they're both a B!T#H to get into in deep powder... but as stated above it isn't that big of an issue... I mean if you're good enough to need Griffons/FKS you're definitely good enough to snap into them in snow...

Obviously the FKS is a much more durable binding than the Griffon... but the griffon is also half the price. I think you'll be really happy with either.

FKS- Turn table heel design that has proven to save knees.

STH- Driver toe piece has adjustment screws to allow better fitting toe piece which allows more control.

Also people claim the heel is easier to clean snow in deep pow.

I have STH 14 driver on my pow skis and they work awesome. Never have tried the FKS.

Try both and pick the better one.

Exactly. If somebody is too much of a bitch to whack a bit of snow off their boot, then don't get a good binding. Invest in tampons.
