Marker Griffon 13 question

Does someone have information about this year's griffon? Besides the fact that they are now a 13 din binding? Are the materials the same? If someone has tried them or just works at a shop it'd be great to know a little more about them!

more plastic in it. if you're pushin 165 lbs+ I'd go for the jester.

griffons are mostly plastic, and 13 din

jesters have more metal (not 100% like fks or pivots) and are a 16 din binding

i think his question was more, there is more plastic in the 2012 griffon than in the 2011?

Construction of the binding is the same from 2011 to 2012.

Only differences are the DIN and color.

FYI the fks/pivot 14 is not 100% metal

but yes the jesters have much more metal than the griffons. the jester pros have the most in the line

considering they're sold for the same price, could one say griffon and STH12(not driver)are equally good?

based on responses i got when i asked that question, they are very similar in quality but the sth 12 driver (if it is availible now?) is supposed to be better than both.

2012 griffon also has adjustable toe height so it can be used with with more boots, i think it was incompatable with some touring boots last year...might be wrong but im pretty sure im right
