Marker Binding problems

Did not search bar so just let me know if repost.

I have Marker Squire bindings.

Okay so the toe piece on my binding has the piece that moves, and it is like shifted to the right. I can't pop it back in with minimal pressure and I don't want to break it. Has anyone had this problem before?

Studying for finals so I can't get pictures right now haha but if needed I can try.

Also, I have problems with the brakes on Marker bindings. I have bent two pairs of brakes within a month bad enough to have to buy a new pair. Almost everyday I go skiing I am worried about landing backwards and having them bend to fuck.. any suggestions?

Sounds like the AFD slider, the part of the toe that slides left and right and contacts the sole of your boot.

Marker sucks at making things and they especially suck at making AFDs on griffons and squires etc. The spring on the inside gets hooked up on something and bends out of place.

You can try taking the spring out, sliding off the AFD plastic plate, and re-assembling it, but if you have no clue what im talking about then check out a ski shop that carries marker. They might have an AFD replacement kit from marker that they can put on.

Had squires 2 years ago. Same thing happened when I came up short on a landing. The spring got all bent so I just trashed them. They're kinda shit bindings anyway
