Marijuana legalization - contact your senator

your probably nine and will one day smoke and love it, i used to think pot was terrible. Basically all im saying is dont let one person fabricate an opinion for you, if you honestly have no interest in doing it than simply dont but do so because you choose to.
 
This. I used to think it was the devil as well.

Coming from someone who used to think it would kill me and make my dad pregnant, it is one of the most benign "drugs" out there.

All joking aside, the bill is already on the ballot in WA for next November. I haven't checked out the specifics but from what I hear, if it passes (probably not), it will be regulated much like alcohol. Where it is taxed heavily with an age limit and sold in state controlled stores like liquor stores. Personally I would rather it remain illegal because I think it is easier for me to obtain it right now since I'm a minor than if it was legal. Inb4 I'm an idiot because I think it should be illegal. But not for dumb reasons.
 
by legalizing it they take tons of money out of crinmals hands and put in the governments hand as well as making it one less thing for the cops to worry about. making it easier to crack down on the bigger drugs. also Amsterdam is a perfect example proving that it a society can prosper perfectly fine once pot is legal
 
Well it's an extremely selfish and sort of stupid reason, but it benefits me. And honestly I'm not a very compassionate person nor am I unselfish, so I consider this a good reason.

But I am logical, and I see why this is a stupid reason.
 
This needs to happen so that we can all stop talking about how stupid it is to be illegal in the first place. This law is similar to the 21 drinking age in the US; utterly retarded.
