Was just looking around mt creeks website, and they are holding a ski competition!

Freeski Super Fling 2004

Date: March 6th (Saturday)

Time: 7AM-8PM

Where: Sugar Jib Park & Superpipe

As Ned Flanders said, 'Skiing is HOT and SEXY again', so come be part of the action at the Mountain Creek Freeski Super Fling 2004! Rail and pipe competition, with a live concert between sessions. Registration information coming soon, tentative schedule as follows.

7AM-8:30AM Athlete Check-In in Training Room next to Guest Services at Vernon.

10AM-11:30AM Age 17 & under Slopestyle Qualifiers

11:30AM-1PM Age 18 & over Slopestyle Qualifiers

1:30PM-2:30PM Slopestyle Finals

3PM-4PM Live Concert on the snow!

4PM-5PM Age 17 & under Pipe Qualifiers

5PM-6PM Age 18 & over Pipe Qualifiers

7PM Pipe Finals under the lights

I wont be there for the rails unfortunately, but im definitely gonna try to make it to the pipe comp. Anybody else going?

i think its going to be just rails if it is on the sugar slope, right now the course looks like the rollercoaster, a flat bar, c rail, and trap box. But, they will probably try to throw some new stuff into there.

 
hopefully, i havent been able to hit the s rail all year and they havent set up that single barrel rainbow. But its going to be hard with this warm weather. I think both of the comps are going to be in jam format.
