I'm not idolizing anyone, if that's how you interpreted this thread (replying mainly to Skibum140). On the contrary, I was attempting to point out something that a lot of members may not know; for example, if there's a thread by some random newb talking shit about a professional skier, the chance that the thread was actually started by that skier him- or herself is extrordinarily high.

A good point though as mentioned above, a skier who gets shit-talked regularly in the forums really has every right to come back on NS and get his own kicks in.

The main point being, I suppose, that the skiers who like to fuck with the forums could find better ways to contribute to NS than to continue the cycle of random bullshit that the boards have devolved to.
