Manning Comp- March 27th

march 27th there's a slopestyle comp at manning...there's two seperate comps on that day, one purely rails, the other purely hits. Whitey (the best Chilliwack Ska band ever) is playing live all day. There's cash prizes and a whole bunch of other shit....everybody should go because that would be wicked to see skiers killing it all day...the cost to enter is $30 bucks, and lift tickets are about that but there might be a discount for competitors, i'm not sure....(between you and me though, manning very RARELY checks passes, so you could risk it if you wanted...i've been checked once since the new year...) anyways: everyone go to the comp because it'll be super awesome and be sure to tell a friend

I was just up Manning witha buddy this weekend. Miiiight come up for comp, what time does it start and would I need a waiver signed? Thanks.

rails are in the morning, with air after that...so i'm thinking the earliest time for the actual thing to start is probably around 10:30ish, the actual lifts open at 9...yeah you'd have to get a waiver signed, but i'm pretty sure there's an online form you can print out and get it signed at home then just bring it, but i haven't figured out where that is (www.manningpark.com)...

everyone email kye.grace@hotmail.com and bitch about the shitty prizes. he said there isnt really cash prizes because he has to buy the prizes from his sponsors. for 30 dollars there better be a crap load of prizes unlike all the other comps. they didnt ID me last time to get a parent signature so dont worry to much about that. there is no competitor discount on the lift tickets. hopefully its a multiple hit comp rather than a big air. you better show up seth.

Once again Brian's ability to read, speak, and espicially listen has overwhelmed me. I actually told him that we put almost all the entry fees back into cash prizes. We don't buy our prizes from sponsors they are given to us. There are as listed on the poster a Rossignol Snowboard or a pair of scratches with bindings, season passes, day tickets, an Discman or Mp3 player, Rossignol clothing, MTP clothing, and more and at every contest we have had we have given out cash to the top three in all categories and every one has received a draw prize. Brian has only been to one contest and at this point it is one to many for me. Brian if you would care to contest these facts I have the email I sent you and can post it on here if it helps jog your memory. If you can't afford it then let me know and I will put you to work shovelling (the crap that comes out of your yap hole) anyways to the rest of you see you if can make it and please email if you have any questions or want confirmation of the prizes and what not.

 
That will be close, if you want to email your name, address, age, sport, sponsors, I will fill a form out for you ro anyone else for that matter. I am pretty sure brian has included my address in his posts above. The greyhound stops at the front doors of the hotel and there is a shuttle to the hill. You could also trying hitching once at the resort people will pick you up on the skihill road.

 
One more thing (if you are park staff), my buddy and I were up last weekend and rode the park after the mountain closed for a little bit with park guys and got some pictures taken by the photographer guy. He said that we could get the pics e-mailed to us. We left our e-mail adresses at the rental place, but I'm not sure if that was the right place. I don't know if you can help me out or not, but heres my adress: ace@newschoolers.com. The photographer said they were pictures for the website or the brochure or something.

ryan you should go to the comp,its a fun comp even though you are poor its worth it. even though i complain about the prizes i still encourage everyone to show up. joel better get his lazy ass up.

 
joel is a bitch dont count on him to go skiing cuz he no longer enjoys it as much as not getting any from his girlfriend
