Mammoth Park

didn't think I woudl be saying this, but Squaw is ball'n off the hook. Perfectly shaped big jumps and a wide variety of rails. with two seperate parks. It's legit if you can get cheap or free tickets.
 
mammoth is pretty sick right now but melting quick... the middle jump is still big 60' i'd say. the pipe was dope on friday but by sunday when i left it was like a river
 
mammoth is not tahoe, and a 60er right now is pretty dope. they have a d/f/d rail.. lift tower down feature... down box... up rail that has a big gap off it, and a set up jump to a 40er.

40 foot money booter, can be taken really long tho

Forest has the shark fin which is real fun, and the super duper pipe is real nice but gets pretty soft. main was real fun everything flows so well, and u could hit the dfd and the lift pole in same run.

 
Fuck!!!... they closed Squaw big park. There was a legit jump that was atleast 65'. The small park is small with the biggest jumps around 20'

anyone heard a closing date for Mammoth? I'm out for next weekend, but after that I'm down. I'm also looking for a group to make a Hood trip - prolly June-ish. Gas is CRAZY pricy right now. Even if you're not riding together, mass ski transit is pretty hot right now.
 
They had these huge snowcross freestyle ramps up yesterday.  the riders were doing some cool shit but then one of the guys got landed on and it like snapped his whole forarm. 
 
go to special tickets and pretend like you go to highschool in mammoth or Bishop.. They'll ask for id but you it can still be done. If you pull it, tickets are only $5.
