Mammoth open until at least end of july

Could we see a first full year season? More snow forecasted and typically big snow years don’t stop till early May for snow. Would love to see all of the snow compiled into one huge run just to do it.

Great news, but I'm wary their staffing issues will get worse as the late season progresses :/

Mammoth handles their shit. They'll keep em spinning if there is snow.

If only the east coast got this much snow

wachusett is set to close in 10 days, but we have like 5-6 feet of depth still on some trails. with another foot coming over the next week, i could see us staying open until beginning of may. This is Massachusetts mind you, we have to close because the mountain is on conservation land and we can only use it for skiing until April :(

I hope they have a park open longer than timberline

Wouldn’t bet on it, they’ll pull all the parks to build the super unknown setup again and probably not build a whole new park after.

I was there Memorial Day weekend last year and there was 1 jump and a couple small rails.

I was there the same week or the next and it was this. They closed that park at the end of the week and opened a even smaller one with 3 identical flat tubes between top of stump alley and base of the face lift.

camping and skiing is just the best.

prolly gonna head there for 4th of july, anyone esle on board? You can camp on usf for the low price of a fire permit.

let me know I am looking at working there for parking or if they have like a cook or dishwasher position

These days pretty much everything is listed on the website. Probably better off applying in advance and then rolling out if you get the job.

Unless you have the means to bum it regardless.

yea I checked the website it looks like they are hiring all those positions I'm trying to get some people to go with me to make bringing a camper or camping worth it

living on the east coast havent you seen our snow this year?

well tbf i didnt realize we had such a bad snow year until i was told so. i was skiing in the woods a lot so i didn't mind 乁༼☯‿☯✿༽ㄏ

I’ll be camping it as much as I can once it starts warming up a bit. It’ll be a lot easier to camp once I’m not limited to the vons parking lot. If anyone’s planning on coming out this spring/summer/fall hit me up! It’s gonna be a good year!

Main park setup was still there the whole time our SuperUnknown build was up...

I wouldn't use last year as a precedent for how long the parks will be up this year. Last year was a mediocre to below average snow year with a really warm March that melted out a lot of snow. They had to farm snow to stay open til Memorial Day.
