google has soo many little side programs, and u wouldn't know it but they all amass to this one super program that will take over the internet except for ns.com because we have sporks - KillerMonkey
if you have a router a jig saw and a belt sander its not that hard. I have a really good CAD program but if you dont go to turbocad.com and download it free so you can print your design over multiple pages to make a template

to print full scale on turbocad go to page setup and mess around with some of the settings its pretty much self explanitory. You can also save your files from a differnt program as a commonly recognized filetype if you alrady designed them on a different program and then open it in turbocad to print over multiple pages

i really want to build my own skis but it seems like this mite take quite a bit of time and some things sounds easy and some parts so hard is this rite im still dont no if i should or shouldnt any ideas
it's very tedious and time consuming. lots and lots of steps go inot it. I am just begining to build my press (or will be this weekend), and it's been months of looking through stuff and figuring things out, and I still have very little idea how I want to go about the majority of the steps.

you make a good point about feeling bad when you break them. i think i would probably be a bit more careful with my first couple of pairs, at least until i get a bit more experienced, but you kinda have to beat on some of them to test durability and stuff like that.
