Making threads with a DSLR

I recently attempted making a thread with my d40x and it wasnt easy. Because you have to look through the viewfinder to find the correct angle. Its really easy to take the regular pictures, just of the straight shot, not wearing it and trying to get a picture of yourself. Back to the viewfinder issue, you look completely retarted because you are squinting, look like a fucking gorilla with your damn arms all the way by your head and the shadow afects the whole pictureall the way down to the ribbing. Well, if necessary i will post pics of my failed attempts of mirror shots. Fml what is the point of this camera.

Bottom line: when you try to get mirror shots or self timer, it takes like 30 tries to get it perfect, and. Need really good lighting cuz flash blurrs the mirror picture too much. Its not fun

I thought you were talking about making a thread using your computer, looking through the viewfinder of your DSLR.

Fucking summer.

well it seems that OP isn't if he is a truth teller, but it's funny that you mention that considering you fit the criteria.

this is the dumbest shit i've ever seen i think. you're complaining about your camera because it's not good for taking myspace pics? you best be trollin.

i thought you were talking about a dslr that got wifi and could browse/make threads on ns. what the fuck.

can't you just set your exposure and focus, then move it away from your face so you're not squinting? or use the auto mode with the flash off? or better yet not take mirror pictures.
