Making summer skiing, skiable

I found some carpet and soaped it down and keep it really wet but I still stick to it when I ride over it, is there anything I can do to make it work better/ less sticky?

This runs great. Sometimes can be sketchy but I highly recommend it.

is it just normal carpet? not indoor/outdoor? because to slide you need the hydrophobic aspect of indoor/outdoor carpeting (basically just that it's plastic). thats why your skis would slide on it, because the material doesn't absorb the water, leaving the water/soap as a lubricating layer between your skis an the carpet

yeah, plus it's white like snow, and mine is an ice cold powder for some reason so it's even better (ladies hate it though)
