Im thinking about making a rail or two to the winter. But Im not sure what im gonna make of. What do think would be the best?

 
the easiest way is to get a pvc pipe. cheap and doesn't hurt your edge as much.

yeah but its mad easy to catch an edge and i think it feels a lot different then sliding metal rails, all i did for one of my rails was get 2 metal pipes and drilled through them, then screwed them each to the top of a 2x4, then i got 3 cut peices of a 2x4 and put them in between the 2 rails like a sandwhich and screwed them all together, that left me a gap to stick the stand i made into the rrail. That was probably hard to flollow but i tried
