I've never liked Marker bindings but whats the deal w/ the duke? they look rather progressive, are they "freeride" bidings?

Duke = touring

jester = alpine

basically the duke is a super beefy touring binding. Looks pretty sick and by all accounts skis pretty well, even for a marker =)

For those who are used to lugging around trekkers, it provides a new option. Much beefier than the FR+ and Nx21.

I know want sally to follow suit and make a touring version of the s916. That would be tits

these binders are sick. I watched Pep nuke 180's off a 30ft cliff and stomp the shit out of them, all while being clicked into the "dukes". For people who want to combine traditional backcountry travel methods with progressive backcountry shredding, these bindings are for you. There is also not a huge rise on these bindings like the other A/T binders making them feel more like regular binders. I'm gettin em. Sure beats lugging around those shitty trekkers that fuckin break at the bottom of the climb.
