Make your own rockers

cool idea, might be a little worried about that eventually catching on shit skiing in trees and stuff

good idea, but i wouldnt be doing that on my skis i dont think, snow will melt and get your core wet. then the core will dry and your skis will start warping. good to try on a pair of beater skis though

I might try and pick up a pair of used JO Pros, or something else with a really narrow waist, and create the world's thinnest rockered ski.

Or, rockered snowblades? Rockered race carves?

The possibilities are endless

because british people aren't narrow minded enough to think their country is the only one in existence and hence travel, travel to mountains in fact, spend seasons in the mountains. move to the mountains.

you have 19 posts, your karma is 11I deem your argument invalid...If we have to take advice from anyone it is from this Llama...

I might try putting 2 notches in my tips and sealing them, then when I want to ski pow I can just attach the 'strings' and go... I think I'm gonna do that cause I can't afford to buy pow skis this winter. Anyone think that if I put in 2 small permanent things to hold the string it will destroy the ski? (I will seal them)

you can always rivet or bolt your tips, it wil actually reinforce them; seal off with woodglue or something similar....

a couple small holes shouldn't do anything major if you seal them up- I mean look at some telle skis- a few sets have manufactured holes in the tips

Hey, thanks for posting this!

It was just for fun and actually worked super-good (mad pop) for like 2 weeks but then one of the strings snapped.

We are thinking of making a homemade rocker MARK II with cable and a ratchet so we can let them off when not needed, but we'll probably just drink tea and think about it!
