Major Crashes at NYSE, United Airlines, and WSJ

Well this has been a pretty eventful morning at the speculation room at CNN, I have no idea if these are connected but it is surely ironic that this is happening.

Any thoughts?

CNBC was down too.

As for WSJ and CNBC, they probably just went down because of traffic. Once the NYSE went down people flooded WSJ to find out what was going on, then when WSJ went down, CNBC was next in line for news.

Supposedly United has had this computer issue in the past also. Could it all be related and a hack, sure. I dont think so.

Markets were being hammered before the halt, trading is still resuming, just not on the primary exchange if NYSE is the primary exchange for a stock

just watched a white house press conference and it looks like this all is no big deal. i kind of wanted anarchy but maybe next time i guess. bummer.

Why would you want anarchy? You realize all your money is just numbers on a computer screen. If there's a financial hack, bank accounts can get wipped to $0.00.

How much cash, supplies, and water do you have? Thats all that has value after something like that.

Yeah man! Anarchy! Let's all get mohawks and go to punk concerts!

Cash is pretty hit or miss. It's just paper at this point so if the government is toast it's not going to hold much value.
