I unfortunately have to ski at Shawnee Peak every once in a while. If you've been there you know its a shithole. They've promised pass holders so many more features and all this fancy shit but it never happens. Their setup is literally the worst thing ever. The features were made at least 10 years ago, have metal on the side and are just unwaxed and unproperly maintained, as their rails. They had one jump which was like 15 feet, that was closed half of the year coz little kids eat shit on it. The jump was barely big enough for your skis to go off.

Please Please Please, just like my post it will take two seconds. I don't have to go often but I get like 10 days there and I'd like those to be enjoyable days and not shitty days where I have to bitch about everything.
 
i am also a shawnee skier/employee and he speaks the truth. this place is a shithole. i went up there a couple weeks ago just to walk around and all of their features were left out on the side of the trail uncovered and are rusted to death. The mountain itself is small with no terrain and has so much potential to have a good park but they refuse to take advantage of it. Please like this
 
shawnee peak definately has potential and their features would actually be sorta sick if they weren't rusty and dented, or un-groomed and covered in ice. and im guessing i have to be facespace friends with shawnee peak to like a comment on it's wall, am i correct?
 
They listened, they also told me to send them a design of what they should have for a park and they'll build it exactly.
 
i know one of the marketing dudes who works their he throws down in the park i'll have him put in word with the proper sources about it for ya.
 
obviously none of you have skied at titcomb mountain in farmington maine, i mean if you want to see a shithole got there... 5 rails 2 boxes and no jumps
 
Yeah this sounds like a promise that they won't keep, I'd say a better idea would be to volunteer to help put the nights they're setting up if they let you
 
They really did listen, and its about damn time. people have been complaining for three years now. They actually have put money into making new features and are expanding the park. Theyve got a facebook page for the terrain park now and are paying attention and giving updates now. I have faith in the park staff its just the managers im worried about. Hopefully they have realized how many people are sick of their shit park and are stepping up their game.
