Magnus 102 Mounting

I bought a pair of 171 Magnus 102s this spring, and I have a pair of pivots to mount on them. I ride park only, so should I mount on the recommended line or center? Thanks for your help

If you ride only park, I would go with center.

recommended. My rule is if the ski is symmetrical, then center mount it. If not, one or two cms back is the way to go. By mounting a non-symmetrical ski dead center you will cut down on the swing weight a tiny bit but the ski won't ski as well. Plus 171 is pretty short and center mounting them will make them ski even shorter.

The first shop I brought them to said they can’t center for some reason but talked to some other people and they said center.

A shop told you they couldn’t mount center? ??? don’t go to that shop you gotta be pretty incompetent if you can’t mount a ski where someone wants it
