If all goes as planned. I'm kind of bothered by the fact that on their website it says they won't open til around noon to "do some grooming". They have very little base there so who knows. I think it could be amazing though. I may go to Bromley tomorrow then Magic on Sunday. After the Sun-Mon storm Magic is going to be living up to it's name.

I was thinking the same thing as I drove past Magic on my way to Stratton today. I'm heading to Okemo tomorrow, but will probably hit Magic on Sunday or Monday. If it snows more on Sunday I will definitely be there.

Tomorrow should be about 15" of blower blower pow. There was well over a foot up at K when I left there at 10:30 and it was still dumping. And I know there was more snow to the south. Tomorrow should be an epic day for those who can get out. I'm taking the rain check and cashing in on Monday.

Magic didn't open today. Went to Bromley instead. It was absolutely amazing. Unbelievable skiing for the east coast today. Bromley got 12-14 overnight and probably another 2 inches during the day. Plus they had a 5-6 inch storm a few days ago (nice base)--most of the poachable stuff wasn't skiable until we got this last storm so it was all untouched, REALLY deep. Past knee deep, blowing like Alta champagne. It was unreal.

Magic should be in prime condition to open by Monday, hopefully they actually do! If not I think some hiking is in order. They'll have easily 2-3 feet of untouched by then. Madness.

word, gore mountain in upstate ny had mad snow, prolly the most pow ive ever ridden, i actually experienced a legit face shot!!!

yeah i was there to. i must be incapable of finding untouched pow in the glades though. we we're on the north face for a while but there wasn't much for virgin snow.

side note: since the lift on the north face fucked up, i got a free lift ticket. yes.

i skied stowe saturday and i though that was sick. i really wish i could have stayed so that i could ski 18 inches of new snow

I think I saw stowebum but didn't realize it was him at the time. We made noise for him when he launched a cliff and disappeared into a massive plume of snow under the lift.

ahhhh fuck, i have wanted to ski magic so bad. Its one of the resorts in vermont that i ahve not skied. And two days after I leave Vermont for buffalo its an unber light dry powder day. fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkfuck dui==fjds;klfn jdsnvkj dfnvjksdfnvjkfg

sadly didnt take any pics today but check this pic from Magic's site (you can get an idea of the snow, except this is towards the bottom of the mountain so not quite as deep)
