Magic Lantern pros and cons

I got ML on my 60D, and I have found that it comes with nothing but advantages. I haven't used it much other than the intervalometer which is great for time lapses, and focus peaking. The additional ISO settings are extremely helpful as well. The cons you're worried about are things like bricking/crashing the camera, right? I have had it for about a month and I've experienced no problems. I can't guarantee that it'll be 100% safe but it's fine for me. I don't even know why they call it a "hack". It's rather a firmware extension, IMO.
 
You could really just go onto their website to find out the features... But there aren't really any downsides. I've had it for almost two years and it's never done me any wrong.
 
Yeah, just bought it so i dont know if I am willing to take the risk.And also it is possible to restore to the original firmware from Canon, like on a jailbroked iPhone?
 
? Magic Lantern is freeware, unless you're saying you donated.

Also yes, you can delete it by formatting the card but pressing the trash button before formatting.
 
I think hes talking about the 60D.But yeah like everyone is saying just get it, if you do it right it will be nothing but helpful
 
ive had it on my 60d from like the first week ive had the camera. absolutely love it. follow the instructions and your golden
