Magic Lantern dual ISO?

Anyone here use it? It seems like you can get some pretty sick shots with it. Difficult to use, worth setting it up?

Always just scrolled by the feature, kinda curious to hear people's experience with it.

Here's how I do it:

>Shoot raw(won't work with jpeg I think)

>ISO 100 expose for the higlights(ETTR) using the raw histogram

>Choose dual iso from magic lantern menu and set it to 100/800

>Process the files using cr2hdr.exe

>Edit in Lightroom

It's good for some situations where you need to raise the shadows.

I dabble sometime, but usually just shooting as close to Arri Alexa looking RAW 14bit with a heeaaavyy completely 100% perfect workflow in terms of not ever allowing for any loss of quality, aka non-descructive workflow

Its quite amazing even now to me, pretty much anytime I shoot

PS. That being said Im selling some REDROCK MICRO gear , just mostly pieces and accessories I don't need, or have other same identicals of (don't ask me why..) , and as you might know their stuff is super pricey compared to some ghetto DIY ebay kit lol..

So hmu if you are building a rig and wana see if I have anything left
