Magic J Mounting

I just got a pair of 190cm Magic Js and some fks 18s (AKA beastly setup, super pumped) and I was wondering if anyone had some advice on where to mount these beasts.

I know they just came out this year and maybe no one has skied them, so anyone have experience with mounting the JJs? I am inclined to go with the factory recommended cause you gotta think Armada thought that shit through when they made the ski, mostly wondering if anyone has mounted JJs there, or farther forward, and what your experience was.

I generally mount my park skis 2cm back from true center, and I'm 5'10'' 180, for reference

i rode the 190 with the mdisole at the factory recommended mark. it felt stable at speed and made heavy northwest potato snow feel as smooth and easy. carved well switch on the groomer back to the lift, dont know why you would need more tail than that.

i also bought a pair, and im putting them at factory recommended. it didnt suck...

Dude, TheWakes, you are my hero. I actually just moved to seattle, and I noticed some action from crystal(?) in the vid. pretty much exactly what i bought the ski for, and definitely going factory rec. on these, thanks for the heads up.

i agree with u in some respect. at 5'9" 140lbs, i ride the 190. definitely wont be enough ski for some people. but this guy already spent his money and wanted advice. do u really need to come in here and knock on what he is doing?

agreed, but i'm not really sweating it. i bought those bitches on backcountry so i'll just return em if i want something more burly. i was kind of between magic js and bentchetlers (loved those last year) but when i saw them in person i pretty much was sold.

I have same setup. Tanner told me he rides his at +2.5 but that Ian rides his on the line. I'm thinking of putting mine at +1
