Mad Cook

Mad Cook is a different kind of cooking show. With the illustrious maddened chefs from the travel series Madventures, chef Riku and chef Tunna prepare the most delicious meals on Earth from the most improbable ingredients - for example, sewer rats, badgers, pidgeons and their own semen. All the while teaching us how strung out we are on Babylon's shitty produce, and don't even realize how we are being poisoned on a daily basis!

Although the show is not available in English, I took on the job to translate these amazing episodes for your pleasure, NS.

Episode 1 - Babylon's Fake Food

.

(Use CC for captions if it doesn't activate at first)

Disclaimer - is there some program to more easily translate videos, because doing this with Notepad fucking sucked.

Tomorrow's episode will be about the most luxurious Swedish dish of all, Surströmming! The ultimate hangover cure!

Don't forget to tune in.

I'm well aware that the stuff in chicken nuggets is complete bullshit, I eat em anyways cause they taste good. That nugget however, look like utter shit.

Wild Friday night? No problem, Mad Cook delivers the greatest hangover cure in the world.

Episode 2 - Surstromming

.

Enjoy, one of the best episodes of anything ever.

Episode 3 - It's a badger badger badger badger...

.

I honestly didn't know what to call them for real - weasels or martens, as marten was a new word for me, but they're all relatives in the end.

Delicious bastards.

Kind of a backwards logic, don't you think? And it looked like shit because he forgot to add those few little color gradients.

Episode 4 - The Water of Life - NSFW

If you can't guess from the title, for obvious reasons and a few small shots that may or may not contain some things unsuitable to embed or link to from NS, and I can't put it here.

However, you can find it on my YouTube account with all the other vids. It's a very interesting one, this episode, although NSFW (in some cultures).

Episode 5 - The Ethics of Eating

.

The Mad Cook dives of the deep end and studies the morals and ethics of eating, while preparing a most organic meal.

I honestly don't know, I'm guessing most of the foul smell and taste would be stripped away if the can was actually opened underwater, but maybe our Swedish NSers could help us, like Jane6, Kebabmannen, or even Wester.

Hahaha dude, its like getting a smell of death

at my sister's old school the oldest kids used to, as a prank, buy a bunch of cans of it, open them up and hide them around the school the first week of the semester to be jerks to the new, youngest students.

It usually ended with that the school was closed for the day.

Episode 6 - Food and Politics

.

Mad Cook dives in on the interesting subject of politics concerning food and famine while munching on crisp critters.

Episode 7 - The Turtle Sensei

.

Mad Cook takes a look into the life of the food running under our feet.

Episode 8 - Food as Medicine - NSFW

I suggest everyone checks this out, as it is absolutely hilarious and informative all the way through.

But be warned. All I can say is... Creamy Cum Crepes.

Episode 9 - Ecological Food

.

The Mad Cook preaches about the importance of eating ecologically and suckles on the literal teet of life.

Episode 10 - Active Substances

.

Mad Cook gets a very special guest met on his travels across the world, and they discuss and enjoy substances used to heal the mind and the body.

Episode 11 - Zakuska

.

Mad Cook celebrates the importance of alcohol and its meaning in cultural bonding.

I'm pretty sure now that all finnish people are weird as fuck! ;)

thanks for sharing this little gem !

Episode 12 - Bloody Mary Placenta

.

Mad Cook takes a leap on the wild side and prepares a meaty, yet natural drink.

Episode 13 - The Bothnian Bay Butcher

.

Today, Mad Cook tries his hand against a great beast of the seas.

Episode 14 - The World History of Food

.

Visited by a friend from the Northern wilderness, Mad Cook takes a look at the history of food and enjoys a most traditional Finnish meal in this final episode.

~FIN~

There are some timing issues with like... the first 8 videos until realized how to make the subtitles faster and flowier, but I'll get on fixing them when I have time.
