Macro lenses

I need a good macro lens for food photography. Thinking of the Tamron 90 mm or the 60 mm for my Nikon. Any thoughts?
 
The Zeiss Makro-Planar T* F2 100mm ZE is best and the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM is very good for it's price.
 
I have the 60mm macro (2.8 AF-D) from nikon. On a crop sensor, it works pretty well I'd say, and is tack sharp. I'd highly recommend it, although I heard on an FX body it's not ideal, and I would agree. On my crop body it's great, but 60mm on FF forces you to get so close, the lens blocks any natural light you originally had on your subject, which is a bit of a bummer. But if you have a crop body go for it. I'm still undecided though, it would be worth it to see if you like a longer lens better; magnification effects seen in the circles of confusion in the bokeh look really cool on longer lenses (not macro - but I love 85mm lenses for this). However it can produce a funky feeling sometimes on macro shots that I can't really describe, it just doesn't feel natural is all. Anyways, here are two shots I like from my 60mm. Didn't go digging for my favorites, but exemplifies the sharpness and bokeh.
