Aiight, short and sweet.

2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

2 GB memory

180 GB harddrive

250 GB external memory

With 1 year left on the Apple Warranty..

$750? The guy lives in my hood and I can physically hold the computer, so I know it's not a scam. YAY or NAY?
 
i'd say thats a good deal. I got one for $800 with 2.2ghz, 2gb ram, 100gb hard drive. If you think the body/ whole unit is in good condition and have physically seen it then I would say yes.
 
what year is it?

go try and make that exact computer on apples site and see how much it costs. then subtract money for being used, and old, and you have a price
 
check how many cycles the battery has. although you might be able to switch that battery out on ur own.

but deff get it. i just got mine and it's soo pimp.
 
Yeah, check the battery cycles and aesthetics if you care about that or plan to ever resell. Other than that, it looks like a pretty good deal. It has the same specs as the current white MacBook.
 
I believe MBs are rated at 500+ cycles (correct me if I'm wrong). Another way to check the battery is to download coconutBattery to get a consumption percentage/percentage of original. But if you don't own the 'book yet, I'd say it looks pretty good. If in doubt, you can replace the battery or get it replaced. But definitely download coconutBattery if you buy it.
