Macbook PRO..should I wait

Does anyone know when Leopard is coming out? Also, do you think I should wait until they change the chip in the macbook pro before I buy one? I heard they might do this soon, as they did in the imac.

im pretty sure september or november.... i couldnt wait becuase i needed mine for school but the newer the version you have or get it will be easier to upgrade to leopard... but its your call
 
If you don't really need it pronto I'd hold out till mid October, it'll supposed to be out by then. I'd hold out as long as you can, I wouldn't be surprised if they dump a new chip in those for the Christmas season......
 
leopard is gonna cost 150 bucks or so to upgrade, aaaand its not gonna be that much of a difference, so i would get it.
 
basic rule with laptops (or any technology like mp3 players) if you don't absolutely need it yet, wait until the next version.

I think a macbook should come out around Christmas, with all the new ipods coming out soon. Btw, the new ipod nano is going to look like shit.
 
your in the same spot i am in. i cant decide! the new OS should be out in october. im thinking i will wait till then to buy it, because its so sick. and there might be a better chip or something in it by then
