Macbook help !

Alright so i just got a macbook after my pc crashed. heres the problem; i have a samsung YP-Q1 mp3 player. Now before you all suggest i buy an ipod, which i eventually plan on doing, please help me out. My macbook doesnt recognize the mp3 player, aka nothing shows up on the desktop. So what can i do? I thought it might just show up as a storage device that i could drop songs onto but thats not the case. So please someone help me out! thanks ladies and gentlemen.

it depends the new macs come with snow leopard and i dont think thats compatible with what u have

your mp3 player came with software. That software is most likely only meant for PC's.
Sucks.
