Macbook app help

so i put some application on my macbook a while ago and at the time i thought it was cool but now i hate it and i dont know how i can get rid of it. it makes all the windows you arent using like opaque. i dont know what its called but i think i deleted the program but dont know how to get rid of the effects so if someone could help me it would be great.
 
If you deleted the program that put the effects on in the first place, just reinstall that program take the effects off then delete it again. That would be my guess.

 
it didnt add anything to system preferences ive checked that and the regular preferences for every app too. it pisses me off
 
download a program called "AppDelete" thats what i got on mine, and it deletes all files related to that program in one step.. its super..
