Mac Users of NSG

no just like to keep an eye on my currently failing gpu attached to a QHD monitor

i dont know it off the top of my head, but in the meantime there is the istat pro widget you can download for your dashboard.

temps for your hd, cpu, cpu heatsink, enclosure base, base 2, 3, 4 and gpu

have it, as well as some other one (HG monitor maybe? cant remember the name, its in the menu bar though)

would like one that I can customize, the hg is just temp numbers.

yeah, i have my uptime on an NES style scroll

i want to get a bunch more stats running in their own scrolls under it

hd space, gpu/cpu temps, cpu/ram/gpu usage, and a few other stats

Hey guys, so I need a favor from someone who's good with photoshop. Pretty much I want to have something like this as my desktop.

but with this photo

I know ho to use GeekTools but in order to have the overlap effect I need someone to follow these directions with the mountains photo:

Simply extract the part of your picture you want in front of the time and date and save that object with transparency as a png file in a photo editing program.

so what

So pretty much I just want the mountains, and the sky to be replaced as transparent. If someone could do this that would be sick,+k.

Here's the link to where I got the photo: http://wallpaperstock.net/hd-wide-mountain_wallpapers_15988_1440x900_1.html

Thanks a ton, but I ment both mountains, not just the one on the left, thanks for trying though!

Can someone try to do this for me again, but with BOTH mountains and transparent sky so I can tuck the time behind the mountains? +k

Had to reinstall everything a few days ago. No linux distro for now. Anyways, right now i'm trying to get geektool to display the song playing in cmus (which is open in that terminal window).

Right now I can add to my to-do list by just opening terminal with ⌘-L then typing t add "whatever message". It takes virtually no time to do and org-mode takes care of the formatting. Too bad my awesome todo list was lost with everything else.

anyways once I figure out the cmus thing, and maybe get new emails/moodle posts on there, then it will be done. osx sucks but it's definitely cool looking.
