PC: more stuff for pc and I find the mac interface confining. and I don;t care what enyone telle me, it is easyer to get stuff done faster on a pc! (this starts with simple scroll speed of the mouse. and I know you can change it but on the fastest setting on a mac it still sucks)

i use a mac, im happy with it...and in the long run, pc and mac do the SAME exact thing, just differently...so its a pointless arguement, use what u like

I hope you realize that the PC has only come so far because of Steve Job's genius being stolen by Bill Gates. When apple went bankrupt, Bill Gates gave them money to get back up and running again just to feed off of them. If you don't believe me, look it up on google, you will be amazed at how sleazy Bill Gates is and how brilliant Steve Jobs is.

I don't care about that. in this day and age, mac os and windows don't have much in common, asside from some icons and menues and although mac may hav established both of those, I find working on a mac despiseable

Easily Mac. The technology is years ahead in areas, and in others, PC companies intentionally lag their own products behind so that they can easily release a better version in six months and outdate the present model. They last longer, they run better, they run faster, NOONE write viruses for them... they're better machines. The fact that there's no software for them only extends as far as games, which I don't have time to play... if that's your biggest reason, save some cash and buy a PS2.

Mac...so much easier for Video/Graphics/Editing/...I like Macs more. I grew up around them in my Dad's office, and used them since forever, so I'm used to Macs. When I play CS though I use my mom's incredibly shitty HP Pavilion. Mac OS are more stable than PC from my experiences, plus less trojans and virus files actually work on a Mac, the PC is loaded with shit, even though I run McAffe, Norton and other web Spyware eliminating soft. I just like the way Macs work, when my PC gets internal errors.

dont get me wrong, i use both a pc and mac for extensive high-end processing (usually visual production etc). both systems have there pros and cons and i doubt one will ever get officailly named better than the other. i think it'll only ever come down to personal preference... however, being a student, my budget doesn't allow me to buy fully licenesed software just for my training needs. even academic prices suck. certainly soon when i begin to make money out of what i do with software then i will purchase it fully, but in the meantime one of the biggest advantages of a PC is that it is ten times easier to accquire 'free' software for it. my 2 cents.

(i do not encourage or partake in illegal trading of free or cracked software versions) - just in case any of you r FBI

 
they're both great but personally i think that mac is more confining. pc definatly.

^ good point, thats how i get all my programs. People are saying how pc's crash all the time but if u take care of um they usually wont. its people that get viruses and dont use firewalls or delete old shit that usuaully have computers that crash. if u take a little time and do some maintence most of the problems people encounter wont happen.

I would know, i've used both frequently, sure mac has less games and other stuff but the stuff they do have is just so much better, most people judge macs too soon
