ok so i have no clue what i did, but at the top of my keyboard where all the buttons are, like the brightness control, minimizer thing, volume, and such, suddenly just stopped working. when i try to press them it makes that sound like the 'dun'. i dont know what to do and have no idea what i did and i really need those controls... somebody help??
and i already tried restarting my computer so help please + karma

hm, never happened to me. maybe try leaving it off for a little longer ? if not bring it to the closets mac store and they'll deff. take care of it for you

bahaha. or put peanut butter on the insides and stick a magnet or something to the hard drive. that will most defiantly not void you're warranty

hahahahaha that was pretty good. you had me going there for a good bit.

seriously though, take it to the mac store. maybe google something like "mac top key row not working" or something along those lines. if no luck, then head to the mac store cause i doubt you can fix it yourself...

ill have to call mac support in the morning because there is absolutely no mac store near me.... the closest is 2 hours away haha. but yeah ill call them tomorrow because i have warranty, but still have no idea whats up thanks though

exact thing happened with me, only when i turned it on it worked, but sometimes i would turn it one and te keyboard would not work. so i called 1800MYAPPLE, and they said the next time it happens, call em. They like keep your problems with your comp on record, so if you do fix it, but it happens again, as it will in my case, they can help you out.

hope that was coherent
