Burlington already has like 7 inches and its supposed to keep snowing all day and into the night!!!!
SICK... and thats not even what the mountains are getting
Accuweather seems off on their forecasting though as winds are pushing out of the west for us, and are forecasted to stay from the west which would put the heavier snow more in Western New York than their graphic states.
NOAA agrees with that too with 1-2 feet expected from the Chautauqua Ridge to the Boston Hills of Southern Erie, which is where the ski areas are.
i love how bristol gets shit for snow. The only way we get lake effect is if the wind is from straight north coming over ontario. other than that, we will prollly only get like 2 inches from this storm.
On the site it says 8-10'' but I highly doubt that there is 8 inches of untouched on rocket. Usually they add up all the snow from during that day and in the morning, by that time its all been groomed over. But Bristol really doesn't get any of the lake effect snow that fairport, penfield and other towns near the lake get.
alright well last night was the oddest thing on earth. Bristol got over a foot of snow. you could ski anywhere on the mountain and be fine. it was sickkkkk.
The groomed, but only the main trail, all of outer orbit was ungroomed, along with the left side of upper and lower rocket. snow was super light too, even tho it was like 14inches at the top you could still get face spray
