M. Elihu Clothing Company

Hello Newschoolers,

Some of you may remember Inversion Clothing, a Montana based Cut/Sew company.

After lasts years Fall line, and talking to many friends, I decided I needed to make a change, which I feel will be best for the company in the long run.

I've been working behind the scenes for the last 6+ months to improve quality, and build a larger line of products. Not only will there be more styles, but you'll see more detail into each piece, and so on.

I'm currently working with 10+ people, who are all voicing their opinions, in the hopes that there is a style everyone will like, with the common goal to be able to suit your need. As a ski based brand, you'll still see tall fit products, however there are also "clean" looking items as well.

This spring/early summer there will be a release of headwear (snapbacks/5-panels), followed by other small drops this summer. Come this Fall, you'll see a full line of products including T-Shirts, Crewnecks, Hoodies, Vests and more. With future products including a full line of denim, baselayers and more, I plan to have products that can suit your needs, no matter what those may be.

For more information, please become a fan of the Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-MElihu-Clothing-Company/215162288576182

The M.Elihu website will be released in the next 1-2 weeks.

Thank you for everyones support with Inversion, and I hope you like M.Elihu even more!

-Miles

Below are some small previews - I'll be posting more previews every other day or so via Facebook.

So stoked on this! I've been talking to miles for the past several months and I can tell you guys that M.Elihu is going to be awesome. He's got big plans for the brand and most of all really cares about his customers. Get excited guys M. Elihu's going to be dope!

i have also been talking to miles and im having a big influence on the designs and colors and lets just say my favorite pieces of jiberish ever are the og ignant and bird is the word so i will make sure that some of those colors are implemented in the design of the M.Elihu fall drop

i too have been talking to miles, and i too like giraffes......this is going to be thee illest new company of 2012. The quality is going to be stellar, and the style is going to suit everbody, trust me. Hoodies are looking amazing, hats are going to be swagged the fuck out. and trust me, you guys are going to want all of it. KEEP CHECKING BACK FOR INFO ABOUT UPCOMING NEWS, AND MORE PREVIEWS!!!!!

there is a current facebook giveaway, just give that photo a like and a share, and you will enter yourself into a chance to win a sticker pack!

There will be small products (snapbacks, 5 panels, etc) throughout the summer. If all goes as planned, you'll be able to purchase snapbacks in 5 weeks or less.

Also, I'm fully aware of the long wait for products such as hoodies/etc. This was done for numerous reasons. The main reason was to get everything dialed in, and not rush any part of the production/sampling process. Look for some snapback previews on Facebook tonight or tomorrow!

So stoked to see the final product. The company is run by a very legit kid and should be super promising in the future! I look forward to getting some of his products. DEFINITELY keep Elihu on your radar!

i can see this company quickly becoming the most anticipated to drop. and it seems like it definitely will deliver. are there going to be limited stock on things like jiberish? if so i want to make sure i get stuff right when it drops

Yes, everything will be limited, and most products will be produced in quantities of 25 or 50 pieces. (So there could be 15 XXL vests for example.)From my standpoint, the last thing I want to do is for this brand to become another one of those companies who everyone has the products. Personally, I prefer brands that have a unique feel to them. Getting a product thats sold on every online store/every skate shop doesn't appeal to me, and I'm going to stay away from that aspect as much as possible.

Will, there will be similar items to what I've showed you, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Kcin, you can expect a return of the headbands. (in more colors along with a few size options).

They were very popular, and people really seemed to like them!

omg. saw some dope ass sneak peaks tonight, there is much to seen and something else you won't be able to find, even though you may be wearing it - hint - don't lose it in the woods.....

Yes, you would be correct.Long story short, there were some minor legal issues with the Inversion name. I had 30+ names down on paper, and after spending more money than I want to think about with lawyers/etc, this name happened to work.

saw a lot of gear when it was still inversion. shit looked real good and the kid is leggit. skier made for skiers. some good shit and i def plan on getting some M. Elihu stuff when it drops!! get with this stuff

I don't know all the numbers on hoodies,shirts/etc (although they will still be made in very small amounts), hats are 25/pieces per design/style.

I'm looking forward to your stuff, but I want to see creativity, not just a crew with your logo on it. Sizing is hard to get right. Ex. this years 4XL Jiberish is too short for skiing if you are >6', while L is too long for streetwear.

When can we expect to purchase any apparel?

I understand your concerns with creativity/sizing. After Inversion, I right away saw sizing problems with the shirts; that's one thing that has been fixed. You'll see sizes perfect for wearing to school, while also seeing sizes larger in length than this years Jiberish's largest size. Also, the idea with the simple crew is a nice/clean looking product. You could obviously wear it skiing/on the mountain, however it would look nice aswell if you wore it to school/more formal setting.

Yes, you'll see some 10K/10K fabrics on items like vests, while there are plans to offer shells with 20K/20K, taped seams, and more. Also, the use of organic cottons on products like t-shirts/etc will be present in the Fall/future lines.
