Do you call it cold cuts or lunch meat. I call it lunch meat but a couple of my friends think otherwise. sorry for a dumb thread.

To me cold cuts are 'fresh' slices of turkey, ham, chicken and lunch meat is the pre-packaged stuff.

Monkey meat is another term that I've heard used for lunch meat.

i always think of cold cuts as the meat that comes on a subway cold cut sandwich. it's like salami, ham, n shit. whereas ill refer to roast beef, smoked meat, or turkey as lunch meat.

cold cuts are the packaged bullshit dumb meat, and i call the meat from a bakery or something fresh meat.

Cold cuts because I don't always make sandwiches for lunch. Sometimes i make them for dinner. Do you want me to change the name to Dinner Meat in that situation? no. that sounds stupid. It's cold cuts.

Cold Cuts.

What if Im eating them for dinner or Im wolfing them down right out of the package after a night of drinking? Thats not lunch!
