im gonna get flamed to shit for this...

whats the deal with him? he never competes and he announces for a shit load of events. i know he coaches at coc, but is he pro? was he pro? im not dissing him, hes the shit.
 
i think he was a pro and he actually throws down as well not at the same level as the other pros but he can do some pretty solid tricks
 
He still shreds, you just need to get learned a bit more

He has the ability to present, so he's obviously using that and his contacts to turn it into a career - which makes perfect sense.

I love hearing him announce shit, he's made for that role.
 
yea he's good... i specifically remember footy from this photoshoot for orage, jumpopotamous or somthin, and these really sick looking corks he was doing that were set a little bit late. that had to be a few years ago tho
 
I saw him riding the other day and he definitely can ride but, hey-- really? At this point it doesn't matter cos he's just a great, fun person. He made the rail jam really fun for the riders and crowd with his announcing. The part that stood out to me that during a comp, and a jam setting, he took time to explain the tricks and also kept the adults laughing. If parents realize that skiing and ski events are a chance for their kids to go out and have fun, well hey no harm there. There's always going to be hate, so it's nice to have someone who is just constantly stoked and knows how to have a good time around. Props to Luke for keeping up the stoke.
 
anyone who is hating on LVV is just stupid. hes really funny and is generally just the man. hes probbaly the most articulate pro skier out there, very good at interviews, very good at announcing, pretty much da bomb.

What he is doing to keep audiences entertained at events is just crazy... also he is a superb person. Not one negative thing coming from him during JOSS... just keeping his shit together, being Luke. Did you guys see what he did on Jon's video blog? Prediction: He'll be announcing at way bigger events, When superpipe goes Olympic I know who I'd like to be on the mike. My 50 cents.

Totally agree. He did an awesome job on the videoblogs (and in general when he is announcing). Would be great to see him at bigger events.

No really. He is just a funny, do everything guy. Seems to me the perfect job in skiing, free shit an sponsorships for living a ski life. He is tha ultimate ski bum, do whatever. No seg or comp pressures. Nice. I like him.

Plus he always has backflip battles in Sweden.
 
i remember reading years ago in axis that he first got noticed cause he poached superpark and slayed it.
 
yeah he was at the orage jumpopotamus, along with JF Houle and others. He was really killing it! Suck a great guy overall!
