purely out of curiosity, can I ask why you prefer the tyrolias?

Im with this dude. I gave up on Marker a while back, but I had been a die hard FKS fan (especially the 18s) for years. Only problem is that FKS arent as indestructable as people say. I break shit left and right on those bindings so I decided I needed some better bindings. Dropped a ton of money on some Tyrolia 18x's that are black/orange but have metal components instead of mostly plastic. Best Bindings I've ever used so far. Easily up to par with FKS. They ride very similar to FKS IMO but just have a more solid feel to them.

Can I ask why you gave up on marker? Honestly I'm not questioning the durability of the tyrolias. The 18x/deadbolt18 is probably the most indestructible binding possible to build, and I like the AAAtack. Nor am I questioning why he gave up on FKS, as I've seen more irreparably broken fks than any other alpine binding (save for the nonsense that is the marker squire). I'm mostly just asking why OP doesn't like his jesters. Surely not cosmetic reasons? I hated my pair of griffons, but I must say their real binding with fancy metal feels more than solid, albeit expensive.

I literally blew up their lower din models, and I have ridden Jesters/Jester Pros. I liked both of them but I hated the ride they have. The stack height was giving me the weirdest feeling and the toepieces kept getting really loose. The Jester pro's on the other hand were fucking tanky and the dude who owned those kept breaking fks 180s and kept popping out so he switched. its been a few years now and he hasnt had a problem. I just hate how they ride. When you get up to probably 14+ dins, bindings are going to be based on preference.

OP, Im guessing the Tyrolia's are sold?

This, lower stack height and wider afd on the tyrolias. Personally I have also had way too many problems with the fks/pivot bindings so Im just trying to sell the two bindings (both are still up for sale btw). Ive been riding markers for a while now, and recently tried the tyrolia attack bindings and found that I preferred them more.

the ho is still 100 on both so either way someone is getting a pretty solid deal on a pair of solid bindings
