Loveland pass step up-booters?

As soon as Im done with finals Im going to head up to the basin and loveland to ski my ass off. Anyhow I saw some booters on loveland pass, and what looked like a step up. I couldnt really scope the stuff out myself, is that stuff worth hitting? Will I be ok hiking to it? Will I be ok hitchiking?

I'd say you'd be good w/ hitchhiking...most guys are cool in the mountains...however there is a low number of females so don't sit too close
