Loveland will open for the season tomorrow, October 15!

Oct. 11, 2004

We had a great weekend of snowmaking and all we have left is the base area.

Oct. 7, 2004

Loveland Ski Area began making snow on Sept. 24

4' fell overnight on Oct. 5 and 9' have fallen since Oct. 1

Loveland will open as soon as possible with 1000 vertical feet (1.5 miles) of skiable terrain

Rule-of-thumb is to open with a 24' base top-to-bottom, side-to-side

loox like we'll all be skiing tommorow ne one wanna ride tomorow?

Anyone else hit up loveland on Sat or Sun? I was up both days and pretty damn good coverage for October. Two boxes and a rail...good fun.
