Lost skis at Stevens

I lost a pair of 2012 Bent Chetlers (and poles) in a small slide towards the top of Skyline on opening day last November. They got completely buried and I couldn't find them. Has anyone been up there since closing and come across a pair? They have a big red spacecraft sticker on them. Now that it's melting out they might have already been uncovered and I went up to look today and noticed tracks in the area they went missing in, so I figure someone might have found them.

I would really like to find these things, but chances are probably pretty small haha

Question, do you usually hit most pow days at Stevens and rip Tye Mill first chair a lot? And by rip I mean you do the cliff drops in front of the chair?

Cuz you gonna have to ride with me and my boys a bit when the pair of skis we found come back to you. Also Maybe bring some beers. =)

Haha yeah that's what's up! Tye Mill is my chair and you always need to get it while it's good. Don't even get me thinking about those days, I'll get depressed.

If you found my skis I would be so stoked and would bring you beers, JD, or whatever the hell you want. I replaced them, but they have sentimental value. And two pairs of Bent Chetlers is better than one.

Me and my buddy went biking today and then we wanted to go scavenge and I had an idea of where to go. Lo and behold through luck and a little wit we found them! They are a little rusted and the base probably needs a wax and some love. What brand and color were the poles?

I'm an ski/board instructor at the pass, you have probably met me and seen me on Tye Mill as well. Blue coat, stickered green helmet.

Just need to get your info and you can drop by to get them

Yeah, I definitely remember seeing you on Tye Mill. I usually get enough days in where faces become familiar.

The poles were bright orange Scott poles. Not as concerned about those, though. I've acquired a lot of poles lately. If you happen to have them then I suppose I could always use another pair haha.

I owe you big! I honestly was getting to think I'd never see them again. I've been up there to check a couple of times and the snow pack was getting so thin I was almost certain someone had stumbled across them already. The definitely look like they could use a little love, but nothing that can't be fixed with a little work.

My roommate lost a Bentchetler too, but it's out in the woods past Big Chief Bowl... Might go in there in the fall to see if we can retrieve it.
