yo dude no i just think this website is a cleaver way for companies to make money, yeah sure it gets riders stoked because there gtting discounts on stuff, but the companies are making more money selling you it at discount than selling it through shops, but kids love it cause everyone on this network has some sort of b/s sponsorship, in my mind your not "sponsored" until you are atleast on a flow team. its stupid standards in sports these days are just about hyping your self up even if your not good im just sayn i think this site is b/s

-- Anyone else agree?

hahahah i joined that site a week ago just for shits and gigs and without putting a picture up or a bio or anything i got three "offers" but there was a catch, i had to buy a shitton of stuff online. it was then that i realized everyone on there that thinks theyre legit and tells everyone theyre sponsored is getting scammed and being ignant

yeah a kid at school told a bunch of my friends to make an account but we all soon realized its complete crap

hahaha i know some little kid who thinks its all legit and he was telling me how monster wanted him but he couldnt and then he went with rockstar instead or something but anyways site is discounts disguised as sponsorship

Yeah it just gets people stoked that there "sponsored".....it's a bitch to because some people at this hill near my house who aren't even that good are like yeah i'm sponsored and it just pisses me off.....it's so fake i don't know why everyone wants to be sponsored so bad do they think they get respect or something?just do skiing for fun....

Hahahah, their marketing pitch for how they trick us "fickle" teenagers into buying their shit is right on their website.

"Connecting

with youth is critical for brands to build long-term loyalty. They are

a fickle, hard-to-reach group and are overwhelmed with marketing

messages every day. 93% percent of today’s youth is online and spend on average 9 hours every week on social networks. They communicate more

frequently via social network sites than e-mail and consume multiple

types of media at the same time (Online, TV, Radio and Print).

Seventy-one

percent (71%) of Loop'd members say they are more likely to purchase

products from sponsors or comapnies that are associated with

their favorite sports and athletes. Loop'd has created a unique blend

of social media, grassroots marketing and eCommerce around a

passionate lifestyle for brands to participate in the member experience

in authentic and relevant ways - not intrude."

i disagree for skiing there is nothing on this site just a bunch of small independent brands. i signed up for motocross and met joe shryver, my nofear agent. if it wasnt for this "bs" site i wouldnt be getting FREE custom jerseys and gear. heres a pick of the most recent ones.

No, it's not full sponsorship, but if you need cheap stuff it's an easy way to get it. I get like half off Spy goggles just for putting up an edit of myself.

i thought looped was bullshit until i ordered from monster. i am a monster Army sargeant (wat ever the hell that means) but i got 35% off the store and a case of monster. then i get a second case free. so i guess it is kind of legit..... So i can get two cases a month for $20
But i dont reall consider my self a sponsored rider of Monster
