ok so our regional has been littered with threads for every mountain under the sun of these great new england states for years now. what puzzles me is why on gods green earth is there so little love for loon??

maybe im biased, but im calling best park in the east, hands down. if youve been there recently, you know exactly what im talking about. if you havent, then get real and get yer ass up there.

lets get some love in here fellas!
 
good park, reallly hard to lap! Lines on the weekend are so fucking long for the ganjala and the triple/double... Great park except for that fact.
 
its not even that bad.... after the big boy jumps at the end you cut to the kanc and lines r like 5 minutes max on a regular weekend.... and on teh busy busy ones you hit up singles and it goes quick. but when no ones at the kanc aka last month or so. its so dead u get right on and have the sickest 10 minute laps

but yes mark the park so sssoooo sick right now. so much fun. sick features. i only got thursday then sat and sunday and then the years over at loon =(. so sad. right when there park got soooo dope
 
Anyone know what they have left in the park this week and if it's worth going? If my parents let me I want to skip school and go ski like Wednesday or Thursday and might go there since it's one of the last places that still has jumps.
 
to answer questions... tickets r in the 40-50 buck range. and the park is still full open like 10ish jumps like 20 rails. laps all day everyday. and yes its worth going by a long shot. was there sunday... and i will be there thursday. saga drank pants black NS tall tee say hello
 
get real dude. no money plus a little effort and you can ski anywhere you want. please do what you will to prove otherwise...youre wrong, 11 times out of 10.
 
Loon has definitely killed it this year. And its not as hard to deal with weekend crowds as its made out to be. Pretty sure I have only seen the Kanc line anywhere near long a very few times this year. the holiday break weeks are stupid, but those don't count.
As of today, Loon had 10 jumps, 3 hips, a lift tower jib, a down rail, a down rail with a donkey dick, a flat down, a down flat down rail, a down bar, a shotgun rail, and then the setup from signature sessions which is a few creative type features involving wallrides and jersey barriers and such, a 40 foot down rail, and the stair set, the big wall ride at the bottom of LMP, and the super pipe, plus the various jibs in little sister. Its all amazing. Makes me sad to think that they have to close this weekend but its been an incredible season.
 
Park was so fun today!! Weather for Thurs looks good... so hopefully i'll be heading ou there thursday
 
hell yea cloudy in the AM but sunny in the PM and like 55. gunna be sick. see everyone out there!
 
going to try to get up this weekend dont know who ill be there with ima have the ldc china pants on and idk what else
 
im actually going with a boarder friend of mine (maybe) but im open to it. shredding with new people is always a good time

fair warning though.... i suck lol

cant wait to see everyone else up there though

and devin ill take ya up for a weekend next year... i was gunna ask you like 2 weekends ago to come up for this weekend but i ended up with shit to do =(
 
I think I'm going tomorrow, if I do I'll be the kid with magic pants and a black shirt blowing chodes at skiing but still finding a way to enjoy myself and occasionally filming my friend the Steeze_Minister
 
Who knows... hard to be sure. I'd say take a friend's pass if you can get one, and cover your face. I'd offer mine but i lost it.
 
Loon keeps updating their mountain and has great snow making for when it's not snowing- they keep trails covered well and keep lines down - very underrated mountain
 
i cant diss the mountain i grew up on- loon is full of massholes and gapers but i love skiing the trees and love the weekdays when the mountain is empty- i go to other mountains but my uncle works at a ski shop in lincoln, i get free tune ups and gear and can use any demos i want...i can find the terrain i want to ski at loon and have skied it my whole life- you may think it sucks but i love it
