is loon mountain park or the springboard opening or open. also what features. pics/ vids would be nice
 
It was nice today. Everything is kind of small but its fun. On another note I think the park on what used to be race cityil is going to open tomorrow or the next day and same with lmp

i went to loon today, madddd funn. (12/28/2011) but tomorrow will be icy as shit because its gonna be rly rly cold. features:

mid mountain:

flat rail, down box, barrel tap, jump c rail

lower mountain under gondi:

flat box, down rail, dfd, flat bar boner jib

then off to the side where the condos are below are

down donkey dick, up box, dfd
 
so fun today. laps all day. the mail box was prime. got my k fed down on that mailbox. the dfd rail under the gondola was so fun.
 
features are as follows (rails are flat bar unless specified)dropline: flat rail to urban down box or barrle tap to 20ft step up kind of jump to urban round c rail

springboard:flat rail to urban down mailbox rail to roller to taller up rail to horizontal box stall

top secret park 1: flat box to urban down round rail to urban down flat down flat round rail to steep up rail

top secret park 2: down flat down rail or up box or down flat tube

loon mountain park: 4 30-40 ft foot jumps

springboard is legit so fun right now. laps all day to the secret park under the gondi is amazing
 
Ian should have one in a week or so from filming today and one day over christmas break.

springboard is now as follows:

First set of features (right to left): skullcandy tube with weird lips, still super fun. Down round rail about 2'' in diameter, absolutely fantastic. Two mailboxes close to each other, possible to slide both, or just one. Strange boarder feature.

Second set of features (right to left): flat tube to offset right down tube (no height difference, seems sketchy, haven't tried the transfer yet), and urban lip on the down tube. DFD 2'' rail with donkey dick at the end, money as always. Ride-on up with flat donkey dick 2'' rail, fun for taps and such.

First jump, about 15 feet, stepdown. Long, fairly skinny up box next to it.

Second jump, maybe 20 feet, stepdown. Looks like they'll put something next to it by next weekend.

Flat box (taken from under gondi, serviceable as always)

Third jump, 35 feet, stepdown, good landing, with the wavey up-down-up-down-up-down rail next to it.

Large hip

Doghouse box-stall thing that's already been up.

My guess is that they'll also throw in the flat bar that was up in springboard previously at the beginning of the park; it's resting by the side and there's enough room for it.
 
That sounds fucking awesome cant wait to hit it tomorrow. I hope Loon builds a decent sized true table or step up this year
 
Check the last page, that's from Sunday. There's those jumps, plus a four-jump line in the LMP that is about 15, 25, 30,40

LMP: nothing(they are blowing snow for new and expanded jumps and are pushing snow for the halfpipe.)

Dropline: Same(flat bar to barrle tap or pop on down box to 15 ft step down jump/hip to c-rail)

Favorite Feature: c rail

Spring Board: Flat mailbox or skullcandy tube (with one jump in the middle, it used to be two one to the right to get on and one to the left to get on.) Then there is the up to flat canon rail(sort of sketchy) or flat to transfer to the right down tubes(you can hit this from the side as down too) Then, a 15-20 ft step down or an up box( that is a slight gap on) Then a bigger step down around 25 ft or a flat box. Then a 25-35 ft jump or a long up-curve-down-curve-up-curve-down-curve-up curve-down rail curve aka the dragon/serpent rail. Then a hip transfer/jump(sketchy as jump about 45 ft with minimal speed) to a long dog house box(that needs to be waxed and worked on)

Favorite Feature: flat mailbox or the transfer flat down rail

Top Secret Park 1:Same without the flat box. (Pop on urban down rail(needs to be higher and is very low now) to a pop on urban down flat down rail(needs a better jump but is pretty fun) then lastly a steep up rail(not waxed enough and is very sticky)

Favorite Feature: down flat down rail)

Top Secret Park 2: same(down flat tube or up box(shitty and sketchy(no speed)) or down flat down bar rail.) All serviced by quarter pipe drop in that provides minimal speed. Favorite Feature: down flat tube

Air Bag: I saw people working on it. It is up on little sister lift and looks pretty sick. It has a steep jump to a huge orange airbag. It is fenced off with orange loon fencing so you can't hit it. Should be up soon get stoked!!!!
 
LMP is supposedly opening this weekend. If anyone goes up during the week and wants to shred lemme know!
 
yeah! check out loons site for an update. should be up by next weekend and they are revamping dropline into a mini park for little kids.

Note to all, the final jump in springboard is super forgiving, and the taking the hip as a jump is fucking awesome. It's actually closer to 30 feet, but with a ton of airtime. perfect for huge backies or super tweaked out 3s.
 
the donkey dick, a flat bar to double flat bar, jersey barrier and down tube rail are up top, then a rainbow rail into either a three jump line or a wallride then two downrails, the last one is the super long oakley one
