Looking to build rails, Need help with design.

Hi. Im planning on building a rail or two for my backyard. One box and one normal rail. I have tried a few structures but they have failed so far. I need help with a design for the base of the rails, and also, how to make the box rail. Do i need wax for the box? for the rail? also, how long should they be?should i use PVC pipe for the rail? how large of the pvc pipe? If you have rails please send me pictures and/or give me detailed instructions. Thanks!

i cant upload pics cause my computer is hella gay, but i can testify that the triangle meathod in the base is the sturdiest. if your building, well lets say a 12ft rail, than i did 4 triangles every 3 feet and its great. bulit a bunch of jibs using 90° angles on the base it it failed after about 3 hrs of sessoning with my friends. hope this helps

i recomend using gutter material and just building a frame from 2 x4s. don't half ass it, use screws and shit if you want it to last a little while, even paint will help.

an awesome way my friend built a box was to have basically the same thing a rail but with 3 or 4 peices of pvc pipe beside each other, looks wierd but works well

Wondering if i should just take those top screws out and ride it like that, or add two pipes of pvc beside each other on top. Anyone build one before got any tips?
