Looking for roommates in Squaw Valley

Good luck man. Are you restricted only to squaw or would you look at truckee or tahoe city? You are looking at a really small market on a really niche website dude

Yes I am aware of the oddness of my request. The reason I'm being so particular is because I already live in Truckee, and I hate traffic to the mountain with a fiery passion but if its closer than I am, I'm all ears.

Lmao you think squaw valley offers employee housing. They don't care enough about their employees to do that. It's all about making that chedda for them.

Well you should probably hop on craigslist or go to a bar near Squaw to find roommates. Have you thought about moving mountains? Squaw and Alpine isn't even fun because of the crowds.

I wouldnt go that far...but yes. Why not move down to Kwood in like carson or minden if you actually hate crowds that much?

Alpine is still really good on crowds compared to squaw. Some saturday pow days it can be bad, but a good percent stay on the groomers and shit. Fresh tracks all day in promised land, and you can get amazing tracks on the ridge or back in sunbowl if you get there somewhat early.

I usually just tour saturday and leave resort skiing for weekdays and sundays.

I try not to touch squaw to much untill beginning of spring when the entire bay forgets skiing exists and the mountain dies. Pow laps on granite all day.

If you think Alpine and Squaw isn't fun because of crowds youre just not sending hard enough. Squaw Alpine is amazing and everyone knows it and thats why theres crowd problems. I work at Squaw. Its where I ski, I'll most likely end up commuting from the house in tTruckee that I already live in.

I love Alpine to the bottom of my heart, but after waiting 3 hours for one bus to pick up a line longer than my Aunt's Facebook posts. I truly do, but places like Sugar bowl offer similar terrain with even more backcountry access. I love the fact that when I ski Squaw Alpine...I'm going big for the lift! It's fun and great, but very hard to develop a passion for that resort from incline village

I gave up looking for roommates for northstar and just started looking for a room. Have had way more luck. People are fucking flaky. Try and find a room in a house people are already renting or own. Way easier.

I wasted so much time looking for roommates.

^^^

Get a room for a couple months while you mingle with local peeps or keep renting if you like the house
