Looking for new skis

Alright, so I'm definitely due for a new pair, and really don't know where to start looking.

So what I'm currently riding is mostly park, but I want a ski that can also handle itself outside of the park too, and on pow days (not any serious powder, just a few inches). So I guess something like 75-80% of the time I'll be in the park with them.

Also I really want a softer ski, something that I can bust out sweet nose/tail butters when cruising around and jibbing rails and whatnot. My current ski (2008 K2 revivals), is way to stiff for my liking.

I've only looked at a couple skis (LINE Chronics and Armada Al Dente), so I'm sure theres plenty more options out there.

The ones you mentioned could work great. The Blends might be a good option too. I might also check out some of Faction's skis, pricier, but quality build construction.

The ON3P Filthy Rich might be an excellent choice, or if you want a fatter ride @~100m underfoot maybe the Jeronimo. The Armada Halo2 or Al Dente might be up your alley too.

Check out http://www.blistergearreview.com they have loads of insanely in depth and very honest reviews of skis.

And, NS also has a Gear Review area of member uploaded content under the Gear tab on the top of the window.

Check out the Faction Somas. They have a 92mm waist, rocketed tip and tail, and are really playful still super durable. They can crush in the park, and then still ski al around the mountain in many different snow conditions. There is also the Prodigy, which is the same ski, just with a 98mm waist.

give the company High Society Freeride a look out of Aspen Colorado, minimal selection of skis but there FX is pretty solid. Try and find a demo of them and see what you think. should not disappoint!
