Looking for new skis - Symmetrical, Rocker, Soft

So yeah, my Afterbangs started falling apart mid-way through the second season of use, and I need new skis. Basically, I want a ski that's completely symmetrical, referably rocker (or Rocker-Camber-Rocker), lightweight, and really soft and buttery.

I'm 5'7"

Thanks in advance

Atomic infamous. Light, flexy, symmetrical, cheap. Check them out. K2 domains are also rocker-flat-rocker and buttery, but I don't think they're the lightest skis out there.

Line traveling circus. Never tried them but they fit what you want, they are also pretty durable I hear too, if Andy Parry can ski the same ski an entire year without completely destroying them, then they are a durable ski.

ON3P filthy riches or Armada Halo 2! both are rocker in tip an tail, camber underfoot, but soft great skis! Filthy riches are directional, halos are not but both are great.

Well FR is symmetrical, Halo is directional and both are not the softest ski out there. If you're ok with the medium soft flex these are great skis for you.

You're correct, I've had them since this summer and I've used them a bunch on my setup and skied on snow with them around 30 times and the edges are still fine. Really fun ski for rails and still holds well on jumps even if it's super soft. Definitely a good choice for the price and I'm really surprised on how well they hold

K2 Domain! Some people say that it isn't a light ski but I think it's pretty light.

Rocker flat rocker is amazinnggg. Probably not so much for carving for a long period of time but I wouldn't know because I shred Minnesota

So I searched for longer than I'm proud, but I got some pretty good research done. Just wrote down every ski I was interested in. The only things that you aren't really able to find on the internet are (swing) weights and stiffness.

ATM it's pretty much between the Infamous and Domains, but I've also heard good things about the Punx. I'm gonna see if I can make it down to a shop this week or something.

well you just saved me a ton of time cuz i'm pretty much in the same situation as you!

i've been looking for the same kind of ski too and i was recommended the moment vice. i heard they're super light and buttery but i don't think they're symmetrical.

I already had that. Out of all the weights I got, it was the lightest. That's why it was listed as a "winner" but with a question mark because it wasn't too accurate.

Well no, 8 lbs a pair. 1850 g each ski.

And there is a mistake on twotip.com. 1720 g (3.7 lbs) is not for a pair, it's for a single ski. No way a pair of park skis can be that lightweight.

I went from shitty Afterbangs to the Domains. The Domains are awesome. I love mine. So much fun.

Have a look into the liberty antigen; its a price point ski but still has the bamboo core. Its rocker camber rocker, 93 underfoot; really light and graphics are cool. Also uses the new top sheet that's going into all liberty for 2015; textured and more chip-resistant.

The new chronics (line) are good, I've been on them for about a month and so far I've seen great performance in and out of the park, they are fairly light, and rockered, plus they are surprisingly poppy as well as flexible they are a little pricy but in my opinion they are 200% worth it. Plus the design on them is sick

J skis. I have the 90 width underfoot "snowboarding is cool' and they are awesome! super buttery with its 4 radius rocker but the camber and wood core keeps it stiff under foot. sounds like what u want, but there are lots of skis that fit that descrip..., keep in mind that j skis have the 2.5mm thick edges and nice and thick bases for durability, i been lovin mine!

I'm between these and Fatypus L-toros and not sure what to get yet, l toros are super light and soul riders are a bit heavier, both have a rocker profile too

Ok ok that makes more sense then whatever the fuck I said, that would be cool though, some 1.5 lb park skis

This is true, extruded base to keep the cost down in first couple of years; 2015s will have the same base as the rest of the line which will be a huge improvement.

So I've visited a few shops, but nobody had the Infamouses or Domains. I don't know if anyone's had experience with both, but I don't know how stiff or heavy they each are, so if you can compare, that'd be great. Thanks.
